How to Download Your New Hawaii 329 Card From the DOH Patient Portal
The DOH launches a new patient registry portal on September 30, 2026. Follow these steps to sign in and download your digital 329 card.
Hawaii 329 Registry Is Changing: Every Current Patient Will Need a New Digital Card Important update for Hawaii 329 patients The Hawaii Department of Health is transitioning to a brand-new 329 patient registry system scheduled to launch September 30, 2026 . The DOH has also begun publishing new patient and provider resources for the new registry. Hawaii State Department of Health The most important thing for current patients to know is Every current 329 patient will need to access a new digital 329 card after the new system opens. This applies even if your current 329 card has not expired. This is a system change — it is not the same thing as renewing your registration. At Greener Healing Ways, we know this transition may be confusing, so we want to make the process as simple as possible. When can I get my new 329 card? On September 30, 2026 , the Hawaiʻi Department of Health (DOH), Office of Medical Cannabis Control and Regulation, launches a new patient registry portal. Starting that day, patients need to log in to the new portal to download their new 329 card. The DOH states that patient login credentials remain the same. Sign in with your existing email. If the portal asks you to create an account, follow the steps below. Did you complete your own 329 application online? If you previously created and submitted your own online application, you should be able to access your new digital card yourself. You do not need to call your doctor's office to download it. How to download your digital 329 card Sign in. Go to the DOH patient portal login page and enter your email. You will be taken to the myHawaii login page. Enter your email again and follow the on-screen prompts. First time only: create your account. If the portal asks you to create an account, select "Patient OR Medical Provider" under "What type of account would you like to create?", check the box to accept the Terms and Conditions, and click Register. You will get a verification email. Click the "Verify" link in that email before you try to sign in. Sign in again. Sign in with your email and password, and check the box to accept the Terms and Conditions. If a pop-up appears, click Continue. Print your card. On the License/Registration Dashboard, click "Print Digital Card." Download it. Select your license from the drop-down menu and click "Download Digital Card." Hawaii State Department of Health Did your doctor's office handle your application for you? If your provider's office completed your previous application, the process may be different. Please watch for an email or text from our office. There is no need to worry if you do not receive something immediately when the system opens. This is a brand-new statewide registry, and we will be helping our patients through the transition. If another doctor's office or provider handled your application, please follow that office's instructions. Your new digital card is not a renewal This is an important distinction. Getting your replacement digital card because of the new registry does not mean your 329 registration is expiring or needs to be renewed. Your expiration date is still your expiration date. This step is simply about making sure you have access to the new digital card associated with the State's new registry system.
