Paola Abaro, DNP, FNP-BC
Qualifying medical cannabis patients for Hawaiʻi State Certification, Paola Abaro, DNP, FNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in healthcare. Paola is passionate about providing safe, compassionate, and accessible care to patients throughout Hawaiʻi.
Bilingual in English and Tagalog, Dr. Paola Abaro believes that healing begins with listening, and she values clear communication to ensure every patient feels heard, respected, and supported. Her calm, caring approach helps patients feel at ease during the certification process, whether they’re renewing or applying for the first time.
Paola is excited to join Greener Healing Ways in continuing our mission of supporting patients through education, empathy, and the spirit of aloha.

Today we honor the retirement of Dr. James Berg, who has served our island community with dedication, compassion, and aloha for over 20 years.
As the founder of Greener Healing Ways, Dr. Berg has guided thousands of patients with wisdom, kindness, and care. His work has touched countless lives, and his presence in our office will be deeply missed.
While we celebrate his well-earned retirement, we also look forward to continuing the Greener Healing Ways legacy of compassionate care. I am honored to carry this work forward, and we are excited to welcome our new provider, Paola Abaro, APRN, who will continue to serve our patients with the same level of care and aloha you have come to know.
